About Talor

Verified summary and editor assessment

Talor is a local Windows utility that solves one of the most uncomfortable problems in AI-assisted development: giving your AI coding assistant access to real infrastructure without handing over your passwords. Tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex are powerful, but the moment you need them to SSH into a production server, query a MySQL or PostgreSQL database, or call an API that needs a secret token, you face an ugly tradeoff: paste your credentials into the chat and hope for the best, or do the boring work yourself. Talor removes that tradeoff. You store your credentials once in Talor, and they live only in your operating system's secure storage (Windows Credential Manager). They are never uploaded to a cloud account and never appear in a chat transcript. Your AI agent then reaches your infrastructure through Talor commands (for example talor://production-server) instead of reading secrets directly. The agent gets the job done: running database queries, deploying code, checking server status, calling authenticated APIs. The actual passwords stay invisible to it the whole time. Even if a prompt-injection attack tries to trick the agent into revealing credentials, there is simply nothing for it to reveal. Key features include support for SSH servers, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and generic API keys and tokens; per-credential access control so each project only sees what it needs; a full audit log of everything the agent accessed; and zero cloud dependency, because everything runs locally on your own machine. The free plan covers 3 servers and 1 database with unlimited credentials, and a $39 lifetime license removes the limits entirely. No account or login is required to start. Talor is built for developers who use AI coding tools every day and refuse to trade security for convenience.
