You upload one long video you own (MP4, MOV or WebM, up to 3 hours and 2 GB: a talk, a podcast episode, a course, a webinar). shortshort transcribes it word by word, selects passages of 15 to 90 seconds that open and close on a complete sentence, reframes each one to 9:16 by tracking the face on screen with one zoom level per shot, keeps slides and wide shots full-frame, captions every word in one of four styles (Spotlight, Impact, Karaoke, Minimal) and exports MP4 1080 x 1920 at 30 fps. Downloading all of them gives a ZIP with each short twice, with captions and without. Every proposal stays editable before rendering, and the manual editor plus its MP4 export work without an account. A public gallery shows each published short next to the video it came from, with the transcript. Priced per minute of source video, not per short: 1 credit = 1 minute whatever the number of shorts. 3 shorts per video on the free plan, 5 on Starter, 10 on Creator, 20 on Studio. What it does not do: no dubbing or translation, no direct publishing to social networks, no virality score, no B-roll or added music, no import from a YouTube link, no aspect ratio other than 9:16, no public API, no team seats.
