About the Role

Title: Lead Product Manager - AI & Strategic Initiatives Location : DC Metro Area Target Start Date : ASAP Type: contract Pay Rate: DOE The Lead Product Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and lifecycle management of one or more products, including all aspects of the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC): backlog management, discovery, design, engineering collaboration, and production delivery. This role partners closely with technology and business stakeholders to define product vision, develop strategic roadmaps, and prioritize development initiatives. The Lead Product Manager works cross-functionally to ensure objectives, timelines, and commitments are successfully achieved. Responsibilities • Partner with Engineering, UX, and business stakeholders to deliver products that solve critical business problems and provide an excellent user experience. • Guide and support cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure alignment with business objectives. • Drive continuous product improvement through user feedback, research, usability analysis, and sentiment studies. • Prioritize and manage the product backlog based on business value, impact, and development effort. • Develop product vision, strategic roadmaps, and long-term planning initiatives. • Assist with budgeting, resource planning, and business case development. • Facilitate collaboration across teams to ensure successful delivery and adoption of product capabilities. • Communicate product strategy, priorities, and status updates to stakeholders and leadership. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. • Master's degree preferred. • 7-10 years of Product Management experience. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels. • Ability to navigate complex challenges and manage competing priorities effectively. • Demonstrated success building strong cross-functional working relationships. • Experience creating technical and business documentation including functional requirements, workflows, use cases, and related artifacts. • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and execution.
