About the Role
To support advancements in space sustainability, the full-time remote AI Research Scientist will engage in research and development of AI systems and algorithms, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to technical publications. Key responsibilities: Conduct research and development of AI models and advanced machine learning algorithms to enhance physics-driven modeling and simulation systems Implement AI-powered simulation tools to support AI workflows, including reinforcement learning and multi-agent systems Collaborate with research, engineering, and product teams to develop AI solutions for mission-critical modeling and decision-support needs Required qualifications: Active US Security Clearance (Secret minimum, Top Secret preferred) Master's degree in a related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience, or a PhD with relevant research projects Demonstrable expertise in AI/ML methodologies such as deep learning, generative models, and reinforcement learning Experience in software development with proficiency in at least one modern high-level programming language (e.g., Python, R, C++, Java) Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment
